Description

The KRAKEN Paddleboard Fin US I2 is the centre fin made for one board: the KRAKEN Dual Layer Fusion Allround Sky 11’0 of 2023. It has its own fitting, so check the year of your board before you order: the Sky of 2024 uses the fin I1 and the boards of 2025 use the fin A1.

Fitting takes half a minute and no tools: slide the fin into the US fin box under the tail and lock it with the bolt and the square nut. With the fin firmly in place the board holds its line on flat and slow-moving water, which is what the Sky is built for.

Lost the bolt and nut as well? The KRAKEN fin bolt and nut is sold separately. For shallow or weedy water there are the weed fins I4 and I5, which fit the same US fin box.

Deze vin gekocht om te gaan suppen in gebieden met veel waterplanten.Deze vin werkt super, geen planten meer die aan mijn vin blijven hangen!Sup board is wel iets minder stabiel dan met m’n originele vin, maar dat went snel (en is ook afhankelijk van je board).Aanrader dus!

Het ding is gewoon wat het beloofd. Of het beter of minder is dan andere merken zou ik niet weten.Kleinere vin geeft minder kans op waterplanten en is minder kwetsbaar op de kant. Met varen makkelijker de bocht om maar daardoor dus duidelijk minder koersvast en omdat ie minder diep steekt ook iets minder balans.

Er miste een onderdeel welke op de foto was te zien. Na een mailtje direct een reactie met de opmerking dat ze het na zouden sturen ook al was het geen onderdeel van het product (foutje op de foto). Direct volgende dag ontving ik het onderdeel. Super sterk. Ik ga hen aanbevelen bij andere sup eigenaren.

De fin zit er qua model top uit, hopelijk werkt het ook echt wat beter tegen de plantjes bij ondieper water.Wel jammer dat als je een nieuwe besteld hij al flink wat krasjes en andere kleine beschadigingen bevat. Ziet er al gebruikt uit, of door de slechte verpakking en misschien niet geheel netjes opgeslagen beschadigd uit. Nu weet ik als ik hem gebruik dat er ook krasjes op komen, maar bij een nieuwe bestelde hoort dit eigenlijk nog niet te zijn.
