Description
KRAKEN Free Weight Plate Tib Bar: what it is for
The KRAKEN Free Weight Plate Tib Bar trains the tibialis anterior, the muscle on the front of the shin that lifts your foot. You sit or stand with your heel on the ground, hook the bar over your foot and raise your toes against the weight. Strong shins take load off the knee when you land, brake and change direction, which is why tibialis raises are common in rehab and in jump and sprint training.
The bar takes 50 mm weight plates on a bar of 28.5 x 37 x 21.5 cm, black powder-coated steel, rated to 150 kg, and comes with a collar so the plates stay put. Start with the empty bar or a single 5 kg tri-grip plate and build up in small steps; twenty to twenty-five slow reps is a normal set.
This is the single-foot version. For training both feet at once there is the Shin Trainer Duo T1 with a two-feet strap, and for loading a dumbbell instead of plates the Dumbbell Strap. Plates are in the weight plates range.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars.
Kortom: aanrader!!!
Rated 5 out of 5 stars.
