Description

KRAKEN 8 kg hex dumbbells: what they are for

The KRAKEN 8 kg hex dumbbells come as a set of two and are the most-used home weights in the range: curls, shoulder presses, bent-over rows, lunges, goblet squats, dumbbell swings and chest presses for beginners and intermediates. A pair in this range covers most of a full-body programme.

If you only buy one pair of dumbbells for home, this is the range most people end up in; the 8 and 10 kg pairs are the two weights people search for most.

Each dumbbell has a cold-rolled, chrome-plated steel handle, 3.3 cm in diameter and 13 cm wide, heads of solid cast iron with a thick rubber coating, 12.5 cm across, a total length of 30.2 cm. The rubber coating protects your floor and keeps the dumbbell quiet when you set it down; the six flat sides stop it rolling away and make it a stable base for push-ups and renegade rows.

Too heavy? Take the 7 kg. Too light? Move up to the 9 kg. All weights from 1 to 40 kg are in the hexagon dumbbells range, and the 1 to 10 kg pairs come together in the 110 kg hex dumbbell bundle.

Fijn om mee te trainen, rolt niet weg als je het op de grond plaatst zoals ronde dumbbells.
