Description

KRAKEN 6 kg hex dumbbells: what they are for

The KRAKEN 6 kg hex dumbbells come as a set of two and are the classic starter weight for arms and shoulders: lateral raises, front raises, tricep kickbacks, hammer curls and light presses, plus HIIT circuits, pilates and aerobics classes where the weight has to stay in the hand for minutes at a time.

For most people this is also the right weight to learn the overhead press and the single-arm row with, before moving up to the 7 to 10 kg pairs.

Each dumbbell has a cold-rolled, chrome-plated steel handle, 3.3 cm in diameter and 13 cm wide, heads of solid cast iron with a thick rubber coating, 11.5 cm across, a total length of 29.6 cm. The rubber coating protects your floor and keeps the dumbbell quiet when you set it down; the six flat sides stop it rolling away and make it a stable base for push-ups and renegade rows.

Too heavy? Take the 5 kg. Too light? Move up to the 7 kg. All weights from 1 to 40 kg are in the hexagon dumbbells range, and the 1 to 10 kg pairs come together in the 110 kg hex dumbbell bundle.

Fijn om mee te trainen, rolt niet weg als je het op de grond plaatst zoals ronde dumbbells.
