Description

KRAKEN 3 kg hex dumbbells: what they are for

The KRAKEN 3 kg hex dumbbells come as a set of two and are the lightest weights in the range: warm-ups, shoulder and rotator-cuff work, high-rep arm exercises, walking or running with a light load, and the first weeks of strength training. They are also the pair to start with after an injury, when the load has to stay small.

Lateral raises, front raises and external rotations are where a light dumbbell earns its place: the movement is small, the muscles are small, and a heavier weight only spoils the form.

Read the full description

Each dumbbell has a cold-rolled, chrome-plated steel handle, 2.7 cm in diameter and 13 cm wide, heads of solid cast iron with a thick rubber coating, 9.5 cm across, a total length of 26 cm. The rubber coating protects your floor and keeps the dumbbell quiet when you set it down; the six flat sides stop it rolling away and make it a stable base for push-ups and renegade rows.

Too heavy? Take the 2 kg. Too light? Move up to the 4 kg. All weights from 1 to 40 kg are in the hexagon dumbbells range, and the 1 to 10 kg pairs come together in the 110 kg hex dumbbell bundle.

Fijn om mee te trainen, rolt niet weg als je het op de grond plaatst zoals ronde dumbbells.
